Journey Android April 2026 Update: Better Place Picker Experience

This April, we’ve just rolled out an update to Journey for Android, with a refreshed place picker experience.

Here’s what’s new:

1. Cleaner, Modern Interface

The place picker now follows a more modern Material design. It’s cleaner, simpler, and easier to use.

2. New Search Dialog

Searching for locations is now more focused with a dedicated dialog, making it faster to find what you need.

3. Favourite Locations (Star)

You can now star your favourite places for quick access.

4. Quick Access to Favourites

Easily load your saved locations without searching again.

5. Custom Location Names

Rename locations to something meaningful to you, so your entries feel more personal.

6. Drag and Drop Pin

You can still drag and drop the pin on the map to set the exact location.
