With our hectic lives, digital diaries and planners often help us to be more organized, more efficient and less stressed.
But here's the one drawback: digital diaries and planners don't often give us the same freedom that writing by hand does.
Being able to add scribbles, doodles and decorating the pages Pinterest-style all add a personal touch to your journal or planner. These are all things that are lost when you have to type on a keyboard.
With that in mind, we've come up with a way for all our users who love Journey to be able to express your creativity freely — with the Journey Digital Planner!
What is the Journey Digital Planner?
Journey Planner is a digital PDF Planner that allows you to plan your life by hand while still enjoying the benefits of a digital planner!
With a simple and distraction-free interface, you can now stay on top of all aspects of your life with the following features:
- Life planner
- Habit tracker
- Eisenhower Matrix
- Priority planner
- Monthly calendar & planner
- Weekly planner
- Daily planner
- Notes (with 4 different designs)
All you have to do is open the Journey Digital Planner in a PDF annotation app, grab your pen and start planning.
Navigation is made easy; simply use the tabs on the top of every page, as well as with links throughout the planner.
Finally, you'll never have to worry about running out of pages. Simply duplicate the page of your choice in your PDF annotation app and you've got yourself more writing space!
Now, let's take a deeper look at the features available to you on the Journey Planner!
1. Life Planner
Goal-setting is an incredibly important activity. They give you purpose and direction for your everyday and makes life more fulfilling.
In the Journey Digital Planner, you can set both long-term and short-term goals. You can write down your 3-month, 5-year and lifetime goals in various areas of your life, including financial, career, personal and more!
2. Habit tracker
Picking up and maintaining good habits can be a long and even difficult process. And that is why habit trackers are so useful — they hold you accountable and are a visual reminder you of how far you've come.
Simply write down the habit that you want to pick up or maintain, and shade in or circle each time you've managed to complete the habit.
3. Eisenhower Matrix
You may have heard of or seen the Eisenhower Matrix, otherwise known as the urgent-important matrix. By sorting your tasks into the matrix, you can figure out what best to prioritize and become a more productive person.
When you break your tasks down with the Eisenhower Matrix, you'll get a better idea of which one to prioritize and what to do with them. It also helps make busy and hectic days more manageable!
Here's a general idea of how to sort your tasks and what to do about them.
- Urgent and important: to be done immediately
- Important but not urgent: to be scheduled for later
- Urgent but not important: to be delegated
- Not important and not urgent: to be eliminated
Which leads us into our next feature...
4. Priority planner
With your tasks sorted in the Eisenhower Matrix, you can now put the priority tasks and tasks that should be delegated into the Priority planner.
You can indicate the order in which the tasks should be tackled, the person it should be delegated to, and their deadlines.
5. Monthly calendar & planner
Enjoy a monthly calendar spread for every month of 2022! For an overview of all your important tasks, deadlines and appointments in the month, simply jot them down on the calendar spread.
In addition to that, clicking on the dates on the calendar will bring you to the daily planner page for that date.
Right after the calendar spread is the monthly planner of the corresponding month, which includes:
- A space to reflect on last month's wins and areas of improvement
- Setting your monthly goals and creating an action plan
- Setting rewards for each goal
6. Weekly planner
Our weekly planner is broken up into 2 parts. In the first part, you are given an overview of every week in the year, where you can write down some of your most important weekly tasks and goals.
In the second part, similar to the monthly planner, you can reflect on the past week's wins and areas of improvement, set goals, create an action plan and incentivize yourself with rewards!
7. Daily planner
Now it's time to zoom in on the everyday! For easy navigation, tap on your desired date on the year view and you'll be brought to the daily planner for that day.
On the daily planner, you can:
- Set a habit you want to commit to today
- A daily affirmation to get motivated
- Your top 3 goals for the day
- Meal, exercise and water tracker
- A space to reflect on the day's wins and improvements
Need a space to scribble your thoughts or important notes? You can do some note-taking on the Journey Digital Planner as well!
You can select from our 4 different page layouts: blank, grid, dotted grid and lined.
This is where you can truly let your creativity run free! Draw, doodle, scribble to your hearts' content, because planning doesn't have to be boring at all.
It's never too late to start getting organized. Let 2022 be the year where you reclaim control over your time, and get your hands on the Journey Digital Planner today!
